We open in term time (39 weeks of the year) 5 mornings and evenings a week.


AFTER SCHOOL PLAY WORKERS 3.15pm - 6.30pm (Minimum 3 evenings)

Playworker Person Specification and Job Description

You will help to create a fun, safe and friendly play environment for our kids. Working as part of a supportive team, the role will involve:-
 Collecting children from school and bringing them to club
 Designing and running a variety of stimulating games and activities, including cooking, arts, sports, gardening etc
 Preparing simple snacks for tea
 Helping with homework
 Creating positive relationships with parents/carers at close of day.


DAILY BREAKFAST CLUB HELPERS 7.15am - 8.45am (minimum 3 mornings)

Responsible for preparing tasty breakfasts for the children every morning and getting them in the right frame of mind for school. Must be willing to undertake relevant food and hygiene training.

We also open out of term time, in the holidays for 12 weeks of the year.


HOLIDAY CLUB PLAY WORKERS Full day, 7.15am - 6.30pm and Part day Shifts available

You will help to create an exciting fun packed holiday scheme for 4-11 year old children. Working with an enthusiastic team the role will include:-

 Organising and running a variety of stimulating games/activities within different child-centred themes.
 Assisting on a range of trips/visits/outings
 Preparing simple meals
 Creating and maintaining a safe environment for free and structured play
 Creating positive relationships with parents/carers at close of day.


ESCORTS Afternoons 3.15pm - 4pm

Working as part of a supportive team, the role will involve collecting children from our local school and bringing them back to club. A full drivers license is essential for this role.

How to apply

All posts require staff to be properly qualified in childcare. Preference will be given to applicants with an NVQ in Playwork, however this training and support towards the qualification is given to all members of the team if necessary.

You can also expect to enjoy annual holiday entitlements (after a qualifying period) and various in house training
